Tambur
Tambur, bantlı konveyör sistemlerinin sürücüsü olarak çok önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Farklı amaçlar için farklı tipte tamburlar kullanılmaktadır. Tahrik Tamburu olarak bandın tahrik tarafından çalışmasına güç vermek, Kuyruk Tamburu olarak sürücüyü konveyörün ucundan desteklemek, Snub Tamburu olarak bandın tahrik ve kuyruk tamburlarını iyi şekilde sarmasına destek olmak, Gergi Tamburu olarak bandın gerginliğini sağlamak ve sistemin en iyi şekilde kurulmasını sağlamak, Saptırma Tamburu olarak bandın yönünü değiştirmek vb. gibi.
Tambur borusunun yüzey kaplaması da karar verilmesi gereken bir diğer önemli noktadır. Sıcak veya soğuk vulkanizasyon olarak Kauçuk kaplama, Seramikli kauçuk kaplama, Seramik kaplama, Poliüretan kaplama, özellikle Tahrik Tamburları için çoğunlukla tercih edilen tambur gövdesi kaplama türleridir. Kuyruk, Gergi, Saptırma ve Sarma tamburları için tambur gövdesinin yukarıda belirtilen malzemelerle kaplanması gerekli olmayabilir, sadece yüzeyin korozyondan korunması amacıyla boyanması yeterli olabilir.
Diğer özel bir tip ise Elevatör Tamburudur. Elevatör sistemiyle çalışan konveyörler için, projeye uygun şekilde gerekli teknik özelliklerde üretilir.
Drums / Pulleys
Drum is playing very important role as the driver of the belt conveyor systems. Different type of drums are being used for different purposes. It is giving power to the belt to run from driving side as Drive Drum, supporting the driver from the end of the conveyor as Driven/Tail Drum, supporter for belt to cover the drive and driven drums as Snub Drum, to take the tension of the belt and provide best coverage of the system as Tension Drum, to change the direction of the belt as Bend Drum, etc. Name of the drums may change according to position.
Surface coverage of the pipe of the drum is also another important point to decide. Rubber lagging as hot or cold vulcanization, Rubber with Ceramic lagging, Ceramic lagging, PolyUrethane lagging are mostly preferred type of covering the drum body, especially for Drive Drums. For the Tail Drum, Tension Drum, Bend Drum and Snub Drum, coverage of the drum body with materials mentioned above may not be necessary, only painting in order to protect the surface from corrosion can be enough.
Another special type is the Elevator Drum. It is produced in accordance with the required technical specifications in accordance with the project for conveyors working with the elevator system.
